It is important to understand the client's language, even if we share the same tongue
I gained my first experience as a Legal Intern on an internship at The MacKenzie Law Firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. During my twenty months of Internship the office specializing in immigration and civil law has helped people of several dozens different nationalities and the work there was crucial to my overall approach to clients and their specific needs.
Protection of the rights is a mission
During my time in the Office for the Protection of Competition in Brno, I was dealing with the issues of competition and public procurement. The insight into the practices and motivations of big players in confrontation with the effort to protect the fair competition on the relevant markets with regard to the benefit of consumers further shaped my understanding of the conflicting interests of different entities and the need to align them to ensure mutually beneficial functioning.
Law is an instrument, not a straitjacket
I obtained a large variety of specific legal experience in advocacy while working at Maršálek & Žíla, law firm with its registered office in Vsetín. Thanks to this work I was dealing with a diverse range of legal issues and was subsequently able to specialize in corporate law, personal data protection and family law.
